Colon Cleansing: A natural way to a healthier you
The Colon
Your colon or large intestine is a hollow, tube-like organ made up of muscle structure that moves toxic materials along by wave-like motions known as peristaltic action.
From the cecum –the beginning of the large bowel – to the rectum, it is approximately 5-5 ½ feet along. When a person is constipated the walls of the colon are generally packed or lined with accumulated feces from extended periods of intestinal overloading due to the avoidance of responding to the “call of nature” immediately. The colon can neither absorb nor eliminate properly in this condition. When wastes from the blood arrive at the inner wall of the colon, the hardened feces prevent their passage through every organ in the body and reach every cell in the body, toxins contaminate the entire body. To properly cleanse the body tissue we must start by a thorough cleansing of the bowel. It took time to pollute our bodies to the point of disease, so it will take time to reverse the process through a series of body cleansings.
The natural immune system can only be built up in a clean body, a body with a minimal amount of accumulated toxic material. The degree to which the colon is inhabited by harmful bacteria, parasites and other dangerous organism varies greatly among the individuals. What one person is able to hold in the bowel without obvious effects may be hazardous to others.
Remember! Cancer of the colon ranks next to heart disease as the most frequent cause of death in the United States today.
The Benefits of Colon Cleansing with Oxygen
- Oxygen is essential in healing sores and wounds. It has a cleansing antiseptic and solvent action on the intestines.
- Oxygen is both pleasant and effective in restoring and relaxing the colon. Most people feel immediate relief after their first treatment.
- All anaerobic organisms are destroyed in the large bowel, including pathogen (disease producers -and benign (friendly-bacteria, and parasites are removed from the intestines.
- Warm water used in the therapy supplies heat to the body which can relax the colon.
- Conversely, the effects of cold water, also used in the therapy, can induce peristalsis in flaccid and elongated colons.
- The therapy has a definite calming effect on the nervous system.
- Overweight people can eliminate as much as 10-30 pounds over a series of treatments by merely cleansing out their lower gastrointestinal tract.
When sufferers finally visit a physician, they usually relate a history of one or more of these complaints that go back years.

Colon Dysfunction
Trouble is usually first recognized by an individual as constipation or diarrhea. These danger signs along with foul-smelling stool or gas may be passed. The normal color of your stool is honey golden brown and has no odor, which is offensive. During constipation though, you may observe a darkening of the stool, because of the longer transition time in your system. The colon will distribute the poisons of decay, fermentation and purification into the blood. The symptoms are:

Backache |
Colon therapy is not a cure, but it is a valuable procedure and treatment for a wide variety of different colon conditions. A toxic bowel is the source of many health problems. By stripping down the old, toxic mucus lining of the bowel, we remove the number one source of disease in the body. In addition, we open up the bowel to a more efficient means of waste elimination and nutrient absorption, both of which are essential to any lasting healing process. This is also the first step toward normalizing the bowel so that the friendly bacteria will return to keep the colon safe from putrefactions and further auto-intoxication.
It is significant that surgeons and physicians are beginning to understand the importance of bowel care in the prevention of disease.
